 | About The Alaska Virtual Academy is located in Wrangell Alaska. It opened in the fall of 2009. In the 2011-12 school year the academy served 85 students in grades K-8. The Alaska Virtual Academy is part of the public school system and is available to all district residents for free. Students are provided a loaner computer, printer, and Internet reimbursement. The Alaska Virtual Academy is under the management of K12 Inc.
